Eye make up gives me a lot of stress. There have been days and times when I did my complete make up only to have it ruined by some crooked liner and smudged mascara. But since I started following this cool advice and make up hacks, I have been pretty sorted with my makeup looks. Being the generous person that I am, I decided to share the tips with all you lovely ladies out there.

Rule no 1: If you want to wear any kind of contacts, wear them BEFORE starting your eye makeup.

Let’s begin by assuming that you have moisturized your skin, concealed and done your base make up. Start off by using a white pencil on your eyelid. It really makes your eye make up pop. Brightens colours and gives a clean base for you to work on.

Next comes your eye shadow or shadows. If you are applying more than one colour, (colour ideas given below) you can use this picture as a guide. It flatters all the shapes and once your colours are blended, it looks fabulous.

Now for some shade guides:

Pink, glitter and champagne – the colours that suit Asian/Indian skin the most. Try it with winged liner in the evenings and your Eid parties are sorted!

Brown and gold – a great combination. Looks elegant and subtle and most eye shadow quads have these colours.

A slightly bolder look for some girls. Brown gold and green looks beautiful, but you need to make sure to blend well so that there are no harsh lines.

A pretty peachy coral-ey champagne colour with some silver on the inner corners and thick liner. Because eyes are so nicely emphasized, you can use a pretty matching lipstick to finish your look.

A pretty natural look for every day wear.

A hint of a smokey eye with maroon brings out brown eyes. This look is really timeless.

And finally: some eye liner looks and techniques. Eye liner application takes practice. You need to practice using eyeliners even when you are not really going anywhere, so that when you need to apply it you are confident enough. Check out these types of eye liners.
